Finbar Furey is a name that instantly creates curiosity, intrigue and mental imagery, even in the minds of those who have never heard of the man or indulged in the emotive experience of his music or his presence. But for those who lived through the Celtic folk revival which produced Ronnie Browne of ‘The Corries’, Peter Sarsted, Ralph McTell and indeed ‘The Fureys’ will understand the sheer magnitude of a tribute to fifty years of global acclaim for the Man of Furey, when all of these legendary people join forces with such modern derivitions of the music world as Clannad, Paddy Cole, Francis Black and even The McDonald Brothers from X Factor fame, and many more names that will join this fantastic show.

Together with a host of celebrities, personalities and characters from sport, stage and co stars from the movies Finn has peppered with his uilean pipes, banjo, guitar, flute and songs, such as the chart topping Sweet Sixteen, Fifty Years of Music with Finbar Furey will be an amazing happening of story, music and song.
